Events in Gobi Desert originated from the large-scaled investigation activity initiated by Xingzhi Exploring in collaboration with CCTV and The Ministry of Foreign Affairs during 2006-2007. The activity called on most noted elites from business circles, cultural circles and media circles. The first event  2006 gathered 30 teams of Chinese leaders to explore the famous Xuangzang path.

The so-called Goby-India Rally was part of the official celebration  of 500 years Chinese-Indian friendship and fully covered by CCTV tv station. The produced movie documentation was awarded with several international prices. After the first event in November 2006, the organizers from CCTV even had an interview with the Chinese president Hu Jintao, who thought highly of the event.

Today, events in Gobi Desert are for people who  looking for a challenge , wanting to understand a special part of China`s history and to learn more about different faces of China as well as getting friends by mastering the race together. Becoming friends and pushing limits are close together.

What do Gobi Alumni say about it?

Liu Chuanzhi

Chairman Lenovo

"What is the future of China and the world? Actually neither is determined. But there is one group of people that must exist in China. Such people need to be alive and be willing to be the big trees. When he finishes one goal, he would go on to pursue a higher target and firmly try to make it realized. In fact, the society is developing and moving forward owing to this group of people.

Zhang Honghai

Chairman Beijing Enterprises Water

"The aim of the Journey to Gobi is to cultivate a spirit that is united, unremitting and not afraid of difficulties. It will be the most precious wealth of our team and will accompany us to overcome various difficulties and achieve one success after another."

Kuba Zwolinski

Chairman Snowdog

"Ultimate adventure in amzing place and unique opportunity to great people and start new business realtionships based on friendship and trust"

Thomas Goletz

"Absolutely staggering experience. Landscapes, people, emotions, everything. There are many different ways to do that hike. But one was for all the same: We became friends and partners in the desert. And so this trip is already a legend. We are now part of it."

Wang Shi

Chairman China Vanke

"Xuanzang Road is a self-cure for the desert in people's heart, and the renaissance of Chinese humanistic spirit."

Feng Lun

Chairman Vantone

"Any shortcut is invalid here; no matter who you are, on the Gobi and under such a game rule, you are the same as others. There is no other standard but the length you walk; if you can hold on to the end, you are great."

The more hardship one has undergone,
the more intelligent he will be.

During the four days' hiking in the Gobi, team members from both China and foreign countries inspired each other and worked hard to compete for the first place, and finally there was a moving scene of Chinese members and foreign members crossing the finish line holding their hands together.

Intercultural Exchange

The participation of international teams enables Chinese and western cultures to generate various sparks in the Gobi. And the four days' experience in the Gobi will promote exchanges between international cultures;

In 2016, there will be more than 50 foreign team members from different countries to participate in the Gobi activity on June 9, who will march together with many well-known company teams and jointly witness the glow of Chinese civilization and experience the backbone spirit of ancient Chinese sages;

A platform of in-depth communication is provided here for the people who love the Gobi and the Xuanzang spirit.
